It’s July 12, and today we’re celebrating the American School Blog’s 15th anniversary. The actual date of the very first American School blog entry was July 11, 2006, and in the 15 years since then, a lot has changed at American School. Perhaps the biggest change is that we added online high school courses that allow our students to earn an online high school diploma if they so choose. Another big change is the addition of an accredited middle school program consisting of online middle school courses and middle school correspondence courses. Many parents choose to enroll their children into this program for grades 6-8 and then use our accredited high school program for grades 9-12. In the past 15 years this blog has done its best to keep you updated on all of our latest educational endeavors. The blog has also provided updates on many famous American School students and graduates and has kept you posted on American School convention appearances where you can learn more about us in person. On a day-to-day basis this blog has tried to connect American School to a variety of people, places and events. We enjoy posting new blog entries most every day American School is open, and we are grateful that so many of you enjoy the blog. We look forward to the next 15 years of blog posts and we hope you do too!
