It’s July 11, and on this date in 2006, the American School Blog debuted.  Over the last 17 years we’ve posted countless times about American School news and other happenings, most often focusing on how people, places and events from across the country and around the world tie into American School’s homeschool middle school courses and homeschool high school courses.  Our very first blog mentioned the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, which was occurring in Pittsburgh that very evening.  As luck would have it, this year’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game is occurring tonight in Seattle, so let’s run it back to a theme in our very first blog.  Back in 2006 we told our readers that American School can help students become all-stars in whatever field they pursue.  We only offered paper-based high school courses at that time, but our students still became all-stars in a variety of academic and extracurricular pursuits.  With the addition of online high school courses and the introduction of a middle school program, many more students have become all-stars in the last 17 years.  Now it’s your turn to step into the batter’s box and become an all-star yourself.  Enroll today!  We would be happy to serve you and are most grateful to all of you who have read this blog since its debut on this date in 2006.
