For the first time American School staff celebrated Spirit Week.  The event concluded today and was held in conjunction with the School’s 128th anniversary on Wednesday.  Each day of the week staff members were asked to consider dressing in a certain theme.  Monday was Blue and Gold Day to represent School colors.  Tuesday was Sports Day when employees were asked to wear colors or logos of a favorite team.  Wednesday was Formal Day when employees were asked to dress up.  Thursday was Decades Day when employees were asked to wear clothing representing a favorite decade.  Finally, Friday was Ugly Sweater Day when employees were asked to wear their favorite (and perhaps tacky) festive holiday apparel.  Spirit Week was a chance for our staff to develop greater camaraderie and take pride in the fact that we have been a leading distance learning middle school and distance learning high school for well more than a century.  Thank you for being a part of our family and homeschooling with us!
