Over the course of the past two days American School participated in a virtual accreditation visit by Accreditation International. Accreditation International, often abbreviated Ai, is one of three accrediting bodies which accredits American School on an annual basis. Periodically Ai conducts in-person or virtual accreditation visits of schools to ensure they are fulfilling their missions and serving their students in the best possible ways. We are grateful for the suggestions given to us by Ai since they will help us become a better distance education middle school and distance education high school. The meetings went very well, and we are confident that we will be reaccredited by Ai for the next several years. Reaccreditation by Ai also will bring us reaccreditation by NCPSA and MSA-CESS, ensuring that we will continue to be accredited into the 2030s by the three bodies which currently accredit American School.
