It’s October 21, and today American School is holding its 127th Annual Meeting of Trustees and Corporate Members. The meeting is an occasion for participants to review the ups and downs of the previous year and to plan for a bright future. The Annual Meeting has a long and storied history which dates back to American School’s founding in 1897. One could surmise that early Annual Meetings covered topics such as what high school courses we should offer to best suit the needs to adults who work all day and might need to earn a high school diploma at home. More recent Annual Meetings included discussions about an online high school diploma for adults or children as well as the introduction of a middle school program to serve students in grades 6-8. The discussion today will help keep American School as a leading homeschool option for many years to come. Come be a part of an exciting future by enrolling with a school that’s had excellent curriculum, affordable tuition and caring student service for more than a century. All of us would be happy to serve you!
