Later today American School will hold its 83rd Annual Scholarship Meeting during which a distinguished panel of judges will award scholarships to several graduates who earned an accredited high school diploma from American School in 2020. Winners of the Henry Buresh Alumni Award, the R.T. Miller Founders Award and the Presidents Award each will earn a $2000 scholarship, while four other graduates each will earn a $1000 scholarship. In total, American School will award $10,000 to seven winners this year, and since the scholarship program’s inception, 1555 graduates have earned $936,200 in scholarships. This year’s winners and applicants demonstrated excellent academic ability while taking part in our accredited high school program. They also participated in extracurricular activities in their hometowns and plan to continue their education at an accredited college of their choice. We are happy to help our graduates pursue their dreams and are already making plans for the 2022 scholarship program. The program will be open to those who earn a high school diploma at home from American School in 2021 and meet other eligibility requirements. Check back in early 2022 for more information, but for now, congratulations to this year’s scholarship winners. All of us at American School are proud of you!
