American School has begun updating its email servers, migrating a few email addresses to the new server each evening until the transfer is complete. We expect to have all of our email addresses transferred over by early next week. In the meantime, we ask for your patience as some email addresses may be unavailable for short periods of time. We will do our best to maintain our policy of replying to all emails within one business day and will reply to emails as quickly as possible. Along with a new email server, we are also getting a new spam filter. We will check the spam filter several times throughout our regular business day but not in the evening or on weekends. Some legitimate incoming emails may be inadvertently caught by the spam filter while we refine its security settings and then released to their intended recipients. This also may cause slight delays in response times, but the response time should be close to our normal policy of replying to all emails within one business day. Thank you for your patience and understanding and for allowing us to be your distance education middle school or distance education high school. These changes will help us provide you with better service as you work on your middle school courses and high school courses, and we are excited about the opportunity to serve you more effectively.
