This past weekend we attended the California Homeschool Convention in Ontario near Los Angeles, and that event was the last of eight conventions we attended this spring and summer. After being unable to attend conventions for most of 2020 due to the pandemic, it was good to get back on the road and meet people who are interested in our middle school courses and high school courses. Our recent convention trips took us to seven different states, from Florida and Georgia in the southeast to California and Nevada in the west and to Ohio, Illinois and Missouri closer to home. We also attended a virtual convention to introduce ourselves to charter schools across the country. No matter where we went, people were interested in how we can help their children further their education. Some were looking for entire grades of courses, while others just wanted a course or two to supplement an existing homeschool program. We appreciate all of them and look forward to them making us their distance education middle school or distance education high school whenever they are ready to enroll. We are going to take a break from conventions for the next two months before going back on the road in November as health and safety protocols allow. We look forward to meeting you soon!
