Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois Celebrates 100th Anniversary

The Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois is celebrating its 100th anniversary this week.  This milestone is the perfect time for us to congratulate the BBB for a century of service to consumers in Chicago and Northern Illinois.  It is also an opportunity to remind everyone of our 92-year affiliation with the Better Business Bureau.  We want everyone to have a wonderful experience when taking our accredited homeschool courses, and while we can’t guarantee that all of our students will get grades of 100 on every exam they submit in their middle school program or high school program, we can guarantee that we will give them honest customer service every step of the way.  That honesty is one reason why we have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, and our credibility is a main reason why students in Chicago, Northern Illinois and around the country make us their distance learning middle school or distance learning high school.  We are happy to serve them and happy to be affiliated with an outstanding organization such as the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois.

I found all the material and methods extremely satisfying.  It made the classes simple enough to learn while still being able to enjoy the process!  I spent my first two years of high school in a public school, but American School made it an enjoyable experience while still giving me the education I need.  My parents have never been so proud to see so many good grades coming from a homeschool program.

I especially liked and appreciated all of the instructors’ positive comments, feedback and helpful hints on my son’s exams.  You cannot put a price tag on a high school diploma, although I felt the fees were quite reasonable.  I’m really thankful that there is a back-up plan for students who are lacking credits to graduate.

Founded in 1897, American School later became the first correspondence school to become regionally accredited. Today we are accredited by three reputable accrediting bodies and recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education as a non-public high school.  American School’s diploma is accepted by colleges and universities, and thousands of high schools use our courses for credit recovery.
