Black History Month 2025

Black History Month concludes today, and so it is a fitting day to remind you that American School happily accepts students of all races and ethnic backgrounds into our accredited middle school program, accredited high school program and independent study program.  Although we do not have an African-American Studies course in our curriculum at the present time, one is in the works.  Our previous African-American Studies course was popular among students of all nationalities, and we are confident our new course will be popular as well.  Keep checking this blog for updates and know that all of us appreciate the opportunity to serve all of our students.

I found all the material and methods extremely satisfying.  It made the classes simple enough to learn while still being able to enjoy the process!  I spent my first two years of high school in a public school, but American School made it an enjoyable experience while still giving me the education I need.  My parents have never been so proud to see so many good grades coming from a homeschool program.

I especially liked and appreciated all of the instructors’ positive comments, feedback and helpful hints on my son’s exams.  You cannot put a price tag on a high school diploma, although I felt the fees were quite reasonable.  I’m really thankful that there is a back-up plan for students who are lacking credits to graduate.
