It’s October 16, and today is Boss’s Day. It’s a great opportunity for us to look back at the people who have served as THE boss here at American School, namely our presidents. R.T. Miller founded American School in 1897 and served as president until 1945. He was succeeded by James McKinney, C.M. Elliott, W.K. Lasher, William Wright, William Hunding and Gary Masterton, and in 2017, Valerie Riley became the first female president in our long and illustrious history, a position she still holds today. All American School presidents and in fact all American School staff members put students’ needs first. We offer middle school at home and high school at home at an affordable cost, and we give students the ability to be their own bosses by allowing them to work at their own pace in their accredited middle school courses or accredited high school courses. Make our president happy by enrolling today. All of us would be happy to serve you!
