Today’s blog contains information about the Cancer Unwrapped Teen Writing Contest. The contest allows students to share their feelings about their own cancer diagnosis or the cancer diagnosis of a friend or family member and perhaps win a monetary prize. We encourage our students to participate and are pleased to offer a variety of writing courses which help our students become better writers. Being a good writer is important for many reasons beyond entering essay contests. It is an essential skill in so many careers and can also help you communicate effectively with friends, family members or business associates. Be sure to include several writing courses in your accredited middle school program or accredited high school program, or take a writing course for enrichment or as part of a credit recovery program. You will reap the benefits for years to come.
