It’s September 15, and today the person who regularly writes this blog is celebrating 28 years at American School. September 15 also was a Tuesday in 1998, and on that morning, American School staff members were grading exams in high school correspondence courses, assisting students over the phone, and processing paper checks and paper enrollment applications that had arrived in the building in recent days. Needless to say, a LOT has changed since then. American School still does the things mentioned earlier in this blog, but now we assist students via email, process enrollment applications and payments submitted online, guide students through their online high school courses and prepare students for high school through our accredited middle school program, none of which existed in 1998. American School’s dedication to its students, however, has remained the same over the years. In fact it dates back to our founding in 1897 and will continue for years to come. Make this September 15 a day to remember by enrolling and joining the American School family yourself. All of us look forward to serving you!
