Our blog was on hiatus on March 15, when Maine celebrated its 202nd anniversary of statehood, so we are celebrating Maine today instead. Maine is home to Acadia National Park, which is one of the first places in the continental United States to see the sun rise each morning. We mention this because American School students can study from sun up to sun down if they want. That’s because we allow students to work at their own pace as they study their online or paper-based middle school courses and online or paper-based high school courses. There are no required seat times and no schedules in any of our courses.
