Today’s blog has information about the Cirkled In “No Sweat” Scholarship. As we have written several times before, we try to announce and promote scholarship opportunities which are available to our students in our accredited high school program. It is a daunting task because students who earn a high school diploma at home from American School live in all 50 states, and there is simply no way we can list every scholarship opportunity that is available. From time to time, however, we will mention some in this blog, and today is one of those days. In addition to checking this blog every day we are open, our best advice to you would be to research scholarship opportunities that might be available to you on a local, state and national level. Civic and charitable organizations sometimes offer scholarships to residents of certain communities, while other scholarships may be open to persons based on race, gender, religion and other factors. You might also be eligible for one of the scholarships American School offers each year to those who earned a correspondence high school diploma or online high school diploma in the previous year. We will be announcing the winners of those awards this spring but will have many more blogs between now and then, including tomorrow, so please come back here then.
