Today’s blog is about the importance of having a correct email address on your account. This is particularly important for students taking our online middle school courses or online high school courses because we send course log-in information to whatever email address we have on file. It is also important for students taking our middle school or high school correspondence courses, as well as all guarantors and school officials. We send grade notifications and other updates via email, and if we do not have your correct email address, you will not receive these important updates. Recently we began to reach out to those students, guarantors and school officials who appear to have incorrect email addresses in our system. When we reach them, we ask them to confirm their correct email address in our system. School officials and students in our independent study high school program should notify their school’s technical departments to ensure that emails sent from our domains do not get blocked by security settings.
