It’s February 5, and we’re at the exact halfway point of National School Counseling Week. American School is proud to work with thousands of school counselors across the country through our independent study program. The independent study program allows students who attend traditional schools to take our accredited middle school courses or accredited high school courses on an individual basis for credit recovery or enrichment. When completed, students’ American School credits are added to transcripts at their resident schools. The independent study program has been in place for decades, and students and counselors are just as grateful to us and to the program as we are to them for choosing to study and work with us.
