Today’s blog is about an updated policy for comprehensive exams. If you took homeschool courses and wish to gain credit for work you did while you were homeschooling without being an American School student, you are eligible to take up to five comprehensive exams. Previously students whose siblings were American School students were not eligible to take comprehensive exams, but that policy will change on October 1. After October 1, students will be eligible to take comprehensive exams if they meet certain requirements, including not receiving study materials before taking their comprehensive exams, but siblings of students who took comprehensive exams in the past now will be eligible to take their own comprehensive exams. We believe this will better serve our students, and we are happy you and your family have made us your distance education high school.
