It’s April 21, and today is Patriots’ Day throughout New England. If there is one city most associated with Patriots’ Day, it’s Boston, which is where American School was founded way back in 1897. The most famous event associated with Patriots’ Day is the Boston Marathon, which will be held today, and that got us thinking about marathons and how they relate to education. A marathon is a very long race, 26.2 miles to be exact, and any runner will tell you that pace is very important. Going too fast too soon can tire out runners, while going too slow isn’t good either. Runners know how to run at the pace that is best for them, and American School allows students in our accredited middle school program and accredited high school program to work at a pace that is best for them as they complete entire grade levels of middle school at home or high school at home. Experience this benefit for yourself by enrolling today. We look forward to helping you cross the finish line with your accredited high school diploma in the years to come!
