This Computers course is for both students who are experienced computer users and those who have had little or no experience in using a computer. Students will need a Windows-based computer, Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, a printer, and the Internet in order to complete this course. Students will learn about appropriate ways to communicate on the Internet through email and social media. Students will also develop skills in using the Internet to obtain useful information and learn how to protect their privacy and their computers from outside threats.
