Description

Using a variety of poems, short stories, novel excerpts, and non-fiction prose by authors from different times and cultural backgrounds, this English 10 course introduces students to excellent writing. It helps them become familiar with basic literary devices and how they are used in the works under discussion. This course also includes an Extended Writing Project and an Extended Reading Project. Students are required to acquire the novel Night by Elie Wiesel on their own.

There are 8 exams in English 10.
