Description
Introduction to Business focuses on understanding the basic economic and organizational principles
underlying a market economy and how individuals in their roles as workers, citizens and consumers
influence our economic life. The course stresses the consumer role and includes sections on making
wise buying decisions, using the banking system and credit, purchasing insurance, saving and
investing, and establishing a financial plan. In completing this course students apply the concepts they
have learned to scenarios similar to those they might encounter in real life.
