Today’s blog remembers Pearl Harbor and the events that happened there on December 7, 1941. If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you know that we encourage students who take our homeschool high school courses and homeschool middle school courses to visit historical sites if at all possible. It might be difficult for many of you to visit Hawaii, but you can visit this web site to learn more about the events of the date which will live in infamy. If you do happen to be in Hawaii, we strongly encourage you to visit Pearl Harbor in person. You’ll see reminders of 83 years ago and perhaps even meet someone who experienced the events first-hand that day.
