It’s June 1, and like our most recent blog, today we’re celebrating two more statehood anniversaries. Kentucky became a state on this day in 1792, and Tennessee became a state on this day in 1796. We are going to use these anniversaries to talk about state school counseling conventions. Over the years we have been to state counseling conventions in Kentucky and Tennessee as well as many other states. We enjoy meeting counselors whose students take our accredited high school courses for credit recovery or enrichment through our independent study program. While attending a national school counseling convention this summer is a great way for us to meet counselors from all over the country at one location, state counseling conventions allow us to offer more personalized service to counselors in a specific state. We already have two such conventions scheduled for this November and always enjoy serving counselors in Kentucky, Tennessee and the other 48 states as well. Keep checking this blog to learn where we are headed next!
