It’s March 1, and Ohio became a state on this date in 1803. Nebraska joined Ohio as a state on this date in 1867. The first day of March and the statehood anniversaries of two midwestern states is a good occasion to announce that we’ll be heading to three conventions in the Midwest in the coming weeks. Full details will be available soon, but you can expect us to visit Ohio once and Missouri twice to meet homeschooling families and share with them details about our homeschool courses which they may use for middle school at home or high school at home. While we’re not visiting Nebraska itself, past convention experiences tell us that many residents of the Cornhusker State visit conventions in Missouri, and we know we’ll see many residents of the Buckeye State in Ohio. We try to attend as many conventions as possible, so if you don’t live in Ohio or Nebraska, don’t worry. We’ll do our best to be near you later this year!
