It’s March 1, and Ohio and Nebraska became states on this date in 1803 and 1867, respectively. We are proud to have students in the Buckeye State and Cornhusker State, and that made us think about how people hear about us. We attend conventions throughout the country when it’s safe to do so. We promote our accredited middle school program and accredited high school program by placing ads in homeschool publications and on homeschool web sites. We promote our independent study program by placing ads in school counseling publications and on general education web sites. Of course people can search for us on the internet too, but far and away the number one reason people find out about us is by word of mouth. If you are enrolled and enjoy your American School courses, we’d appreciate you telling a friend or family member about us. Doing so helps us educate more students in Ohio, Nebraska, 48 other states and more than 65 countries around the world!
