It’s May 29, and today we have two statehood anniversaries to celebrate. Rhode Island became a state on this day in 1790, and Wisconsin became a state on this day in 1848. This double anniversary got us thinking about the states we visit when we attend conventions. We would love to visit all 50 states in person and meet homeschool families all across the country, but sometimes logistics get in the way. Not every state hosts a convention for homeschooling students and their families, and midwestern states are easier for us to visit since we are located just south of Chicago. So even though it might be easier for us to visit Wisconsin than it is for us to visit Rhode Island, we are just as happy to serve students in Little Rhody, as the nation’s smallest state is sometimes called, as we are to serve students in America’s Dairyland, as Wisconsin is sometimes called. No matter where you live, we would be happy if you made us your distance education middle school or distance education high school too. Enroll today!
