It’s July 22, and Katharine Lee Bates wrote “America the Beautiful” on this date in 1893. It’s one of the prettiest and most poignant patriotic songs, and its title made us think about all of the students who have thought American School was and is beautiful too. Occasionally we will get letters or emails from people whose relatives took high school correspondence courses several decades ago. The letters contain vivid memories and heartfelt wishes of gratitude toward us. We also hear from members of today’s generation who are grateful that we have an independent study high school program in which they can take individual courses for credit recovery and then graduate on time with their friends. Others like that we offer complete middle school and high school programs they can take from home. Whatever you need in grades 6-12, we want you to have a beautiful experience with us, and our staff is ready to help make that happen in any way they can. Get started by enrolling today!
