It’s February 3, and on this date in 1690, the Massachusetts Colony issued the first paper money in North America or South America. Many people still like to use paper money to make purchases, but most people these days buy things online or in person using a credit or debit card. Today’s blog is a reminder that although paper money is legal tender, please do not put cash in the mail to make a payment toward your accredited middle school program, accredited high school program or independent study high school program. If you wish to pay by mail, please enclose a check or money order or complete the printable credit card authorization form and send it to us. You may also pay online or over the phone with a credit or debit card. Thank you for understanding and please know how much we appreciate having the opportunity to serve you.
