It’s April 7, and on this date in 1940, Booker T. Washington became the first African-American to appear on a postage stamp. This anniversary is the perfect time to remind you to place the proper amount of postage on any items you send us through the traditional mail. This includes exams in middle school correspondence courses and high school correspondence courses. Sometimes people will ask us if they can submit multiple exams at the same time. The answer is yes, but if you do so, please take extra care to make sure you’ve placed the proper amount of postage on the envelope. If you are unsure, please take your envelope to your local post office for assistance. Thank you for your cooperation and for making us your distance education middle school or distance education high school.
