It’s July 23, and 25 years ago today Eileen Collins became the first female space shuttle commander when Columbia lifted off from Cape Canaveral in Florida. This silver anniversary is a great time to remind you that anyone can do anything regardless of gender. Here at American School we allow students to take whatever courses interest them, and if you’re a girl who aspires to be the next Eileen Collins and become a pilot of an airplane or other flying machine, a good place to start is by taking some of our science courses. We have several of them among our middle school correspondence courses and high school correspondence courses and even more among our online middle school courses and online high school courses. Tuition is far from astronomical but you’ll receive a quality education and all the help you need to become a star. Enroll today!
