It’s February 26, and Grand Canyon National Park was established on this date in 1919. While the Grand Canyon is one of the most majestic natural wonders in the United States, today’s anniversary also got us thinking about the immense size of some real and metaphorical canyons and how they might be difficult for people to cross. The Grand Canyon covers more than a million acres, and perhaps you feel like you need to complete a million credits to earn a high school diploma at home, especially if you are older than the traditional high school student.
