Today’s Anniversary: Helium

It’s August 18, and French scientist Pierre Janssen discovered helium on this day in 1868.  This anniversary got us thinking about our chemistry courses.  We offer one Chemistry course among our high school correspondence courses and another Chemistry course among our online high school courses.  Both contain lab portions which are required if you wish to earn a high school diploma at home with us.  You can also take either course for credit recovery or enrichment on an individual basis.  Discover American School by enrolling with us today!
