It’s December 3, and Illinois became a state on this day in 1818. Illinois is special to us because it’s been our home state since the early 1900s. Because we are located in Illinois, students in our general high school program or college preparatory program follow graduation requirements put forth by the Illinois State Board of Education as they work to earn a high school diploma at home. That does not mean, however, that we only serve students who live in Illinois.
