It’s December 28, and Iowa became a state on this date in 1846. As you know, American School is based in Illinois, so Iowa is due west of us. Surprisingly we’ve never been to a convention in Iowa, but we hope to change that in the future. Iowa is perhaps best known for corn, and so corn is going to be a theme of today’s blog. When you enroll in our accredited middle school program, accredited high school program or independent study program, you’ll learn kernels of knowledge from a variety of subject areas, including core subjects like English, math, science and social studies, and elective areas such as business, technical, fine arts and world language courses. If you need help, our instructors will use their ears and listen to you while you’re on the phone with them, or you may write or email them for assistance. Finally, all graduates receive a tassel with their diploma after they have completed their high school diploma program, and we look forward to sending you both items after you fulfill all graduation requirements. The first step is to enroll and get started today. We’d be happy to serve you if you live in Iowa or in 49 other states or 65 countries around the world.
