It’s April 15, and Jackie Robinson broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier on this day in 1947 when he played in a game for the Brooklyn Dodgers. It’s a good occasion to remind you that American School does not discriminate against race, gender or creed. We welcome students of all backgrounds because we believe that all students have the right to a quality education. Students are asked to tell us their ethnicities when they enroll in our at home middle school or at home high school programs, but that information is strictly for reference purposes.
