It’s July 16, and on this day in 1941, Joe DiMaggio hit safely for the 56th consecutive game. It’s a record that still stands, and this record got us thinking about streaks. A 56-game hitting streak is definitely admirable in baseball, but please don’t feel like you have to work in your accredited middle school courses or accredited high school courses for 56 days in a row to earn our admiration. We are more interested in your overall success, and we know that students work better when they work at a pace that is comfortable for them. Although all of our courses have deadlines, we do not require students to work every single day. When our homeschooling students complete middle school at home or high school at home with us, they set their own schedule. It’s one of the main reasons more than 3 million students have studied with us over the last 129 years. Experience this for yourself by enrolling with American School today!
