It’s July 20, and on this date in 1969, the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle landed on the moon as part of the famous Apollo 11 mission. The moon landing was the culmination of President John F. Kennedy’s goal to have a man on the moon by the end of the 1960s, and this anniversary got us thinking about goals that our students might set for themselves. Some students might aspire to attend a four-year college or university. For these students, we offer a college preparatory program containing 20 units of credit that will prepare you to study at the next level. Other students may wish to join the workforce after graduation or would like to earn a high school diploma at home simply for personal satisfaction. For these students, we offer a general high school program containing 20 units of credit that meets Illinois graduation requirements. Finally, students may wish to take individual subjects for credit recovery or enrichment, and we are happy to have individual subjects available for purchase. No matter your educational goal, American School can help you achieve it. Get started by enrolling today.
