It’s August 10, and Missouri became a state on this day in 1821. Missouri is known as the Show Me State, and so today is the perfect time to remind you that we ask that you show your work in your math and science courses. American School instructors can give partial credit to students in our accredited middle school program, accredited high school program and independent study high school program who show work if they make an error along the way, but if students simply provide us with an incorrect answer without showing work, we have no other option but to mark the entire question wrong.
