It’s December 29, and Texas became a state on this date in 1845. Texas is known as the Lone Star State, and American School students can be lone stars themselves after they enroll in our accredited middle school program, accredited high school program or independent study high school program. We use the term “lone stars” to describe American School students because our students learn in a classroom of one, whenever and wherever it is convenient for them. Help is available during regular business hours, but students are asked to learn independently, and the results over the years have been impressive. Star students have graduated and gone on to attend leading colleges and universities and start careers in diverse fields. The same can be true of you whether you live in Texas or in any other state. Take the first step to being a lone star by enrolling today. You’ll be glad you did!
