It’s July 28, and the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles opened on this day in 1984. The Summer Olympics will return to Los Angeles in 2028, and perhaps an American School student or two will participate. If so, he or she will be the latest in American School’s Olympic history. Andre Agassi won a gold medal in men’s tennis in 1996, while Katie Hoff won silver and bronze medals in 2008. Many athletes have made us their distance education high school because of the flexibility we offer. They may work on our high school correspondence courses and online high school courses anytime anywhere which allows them plenty of time for training. Even if you don’t have Olympic aspirations you can enjoy the same flexibility after you enroll and become our student.
