It’s February 24, and on this date in 1854 a penny red postage stamp became the first perforated postage stamp available for distribution. Although the penny red postage stamp was issued by the United Kingdom, today’s anniversary got us thinking about postage stamps and how they are used by American School students. The most obvious use is on envelopes used to mail exams in middle school correspondence courses or high school courses. When you use postage stamps to mail in exams in paper-based middle school correspondence courses or paper-based high school correspondence courses, please be sure to affix the proper amount of stamps and postage on your envelope. Doing so will ensure your exams get to us on time and you will have no unforeseen delays in getting your graded exams back. Thank you for your cooperation and please know how much we enjoy serving you.
