Today’s Anniversary: The National Geographic Society

It’s January 13, and the National Geographic Society was founded on this date in 1888.  As you might imagine, today seems like a great day to talk about American School’s geography courses.  Social Studies 6 is one of our accredited middle school courses and is primarily focused on geography.  We also offer World Geography among our high school correspondence courses and Geography among our online high school courses.  No matter where in the world you live, it’s important to know your geography, and American School is happy to serve students in all 50 states and more than 65 countries around the world.  Put your academic career on solid ground by enrolling in one of our geography courses today.  We’d be happy to serve you!

I found all the material and methods extremely satisfying.  It made the classes simple enough to learn while still being able to enjoy the process!  I spent my first two years of high school in a public school, but American School made it an enjoyable experience while still giving me the education I need.  My parents have never been so proud to see so many good grades coming from a homeschool program.

I especially liked and appreciated all of the instructors’ positive comments, feedback and helpful hints on my son’s exams.  You cannot put a price tag on a high school diploma, although I felt the fees were quite reasonable.  I’m really thankful that there is a back-up plan for students who are lacking credits to graduate.
