It’s May 6, and the Penny Black postage stamp was authorized for use on this day in 1840. It was the first adhesive postage stamp in a public postal system, and this anniversary got us thinking about postage. It is important that you put the proper amount of postage on any piece of mail you send us but especially when you send us exams in your middle school correspondence courses or high school correspondence courses. We want to give you feedback as quickly as possible so that you can stay on track in your homeschool courses, but not putting enough postage on an envelope can delay the process. Thank you for understanding and for making us your distance education middle school or distance education high school.
