It’s January 8, and George Washington gave the first State of the Union address on this day in 1790.  The President of the United States is required by law to give an update to Congress from time to time, and this update is known as the State of the Union, a speech which is now traditionally given once a year in January or February.  This anniversary seems like the proper time to provide an update on the state of American School.  We are happy to report that American School continues to be a leading distance education middle school and distance education high school.  Our recent reaccreditation by Accreditation International ensures that students across the country and around the world will benefit from our accredited middle school courses and accredited high school courses.  Our staff continues to provide caring student service, and we are proud to continue our longstanding policy of keeping tuition as affordable as possible so that no student is denied the opportunity to earn a high school diploma at home.  Join us by enrolling and becoming an American School student.  All of us look forward to serving you.
