It’s August 5, and the cornerstone of the Statue of Liberty’s pedestal was laid on this day in 1884. A cornerstone is important because it is a stone larger than bricks or other stones and is used to help give the building a solid foundation. Similarly, when you earn a high school diploma at home from American School, you’ll be giving yourself the foundation for a better future. Our general high school program can help prepare you for junior college or the workforce, while our college preparatory program can help prepare you for a four-year college or university. Each program consists of 20 units of credit with room for electives. Give yourself a solid foundation by enrolling with American School today. You’ll be glad you chose us as your distance education high school.
