It’s January 17, and the United Nations Security Council held its first meeting on this date in 1946. The UN Security Council promotes security and peace, and the anniversary of its first meeting got us thinking about the security measures we have in place for our students and their academic records. American School has sophisticated tools in place to prevent cyberattacks and to keep the personal information of students who take our accredited middle school courses or accredited high school courses safe in our internal record system. Similarly, our web site is secure, so you never have to worry about your personal information being stolen if you enroll or make a payment online. We do our best to stay at least one step ahead of hackers, and from time to time we like keeping you updated on what we are doing without getting into specific details. Today’s blog gives us the opportunity to do that. It also gives us the opportunity to say how much we enjoy serving students who take independent study or homeschool courses through us. Thank you for choosing us and for trusting us to keeping your personal information and academic records safe and secure!
