Today’s Anniversary: The United States Census

It’s August 2, and the first United States Census was conducted on this date in 1790. The United States Census is conducted every ten years and its primary function is to determine how many people live in the United States and where in the country they live. Here at American School, you might be surprised to know that at any one time we have more than 15,000 students. Some of them complete full years of our accredited middle school program or accredited high school program. Others just take one course through our independent study high school program.
