It’s September 17, and the United States Constitution was signed in Philadelphia on this date in 1787. The Constitution is rightfully considered the law of the land, and so today’s blog is going to talk about rules and regulations. American School itself has a set of by-laws which describe how the school is governed. We also have an employee handbook which outlines our policies and tells our employees how they should behave. The “constitution” for our students is the student handbook which can be found on our web site and linked in this blog. Students who take accredited middle school courses and accredited high school courses should review it carefully because we expect policies in the student handbook to be followed just as the United States Constitution provides laws for United States citizens to follow. We appreciate your cooperation and are happy you have made us your distance education middle school or distance education high school.
