It’s December 19, and on this date in 1777, George Washington and his American Revolution soldiers went into winter encampment at Valley Forge in Pennsylvania. Today’s anniversary got us thinking about the first day of winter, which occurs this Saturday. Winter is a great time to be indoors and do middle school at home or high school at home with American School. If you enroll today, it’s likely you’ll have a course or two complete by spring. When the weather improves and travel becomes easier, you may wish to visit Valley Forge for yourself. It would be a great addition to your accredited middle school program or accredited high school program experience with American School. As the year draws to a close, all of us at American School want to thank you for choosing to study with us in 2024. We wish you a wonderful holiday season and invite you to come back here on Thursday, January 2, for our first blog of the new year.
